Blockchain integration
Live today: every document and every completed agreement is anchored in Bitcoin. Coming next: a wallet behind every account, so the deeds you sign are also things you hold.
Bitcoin anchoring
Document hashes and signature bundles are committed to Bitcoin via OpenTimestamps. Proof pages show the block; .ots proofs verify independently.
Editions
Every party to a completed agreement receives a numbered edition with a certificate page, bound to the bundle hash.
A wallet behind every account
Each account gets a wallet, created and held by ProperTrust by default. Deeds, editions and certificates are issued to it as non-transferable tokens. You can export the keys or point the account to a wallet you already hold.
Bring your own wallet
Connect a hardware or software wallet to your account. Editions are issued directly to your address; identity badges and notarial confirmations become attestations you control.
Attestations on-chain
Identity levels, agent mandates and notarial confirmations as verifiable attestations, readable by other platforms and by digital agents without asking ProperTrust.
Transferable instruments
Where a deed is meant to change hands, such as a share certificate, the edition becomes a transferable token with the transfer recorded in the register.
How it will work
- Your account receives an address on an Ethereum-compatible network. Nothing changes in how you sign.
- When an agreement completes, your edition is minted to that address, bound to the anchored bundle hash. Transaction fees are covered by ProperTrust.
- In your profile you choose: keep the wallet with ProperTrust, export it, or link an existing wallet. Linking is a signed message, no funds involved.
- Bitcoin remains the anchor of record for every hash. The programmable chain carries the things you hold.
What will not change
- No cryptocurrency is needed to use ProperTrust. There is no token to buy.
- No document content goes on any chain. Only hashes and attestations.
- Proofs stay verifiable without ProperTrust.
